How we spend our evenings now…

August 9, 2008

The conversation that took place as China’s athletes paraded around the Olympic Stadium:

R: “Look how big Yao’s hands are! They could completely encompass that little boy’s head!”
J: “Yeah, he could probably put his hand on his head and pick him up that way.”
R: “And crush his skull…”
J: “Renee! That kid survived an earthquake!!”
R: “But he can’t survive Yao.”

Pictures to be posted soon, I promise, but it’s still kind of a mess here and we’re leaving town tomorrow. Boo, social lives.

Hilarious….but I have to admit, that little boy was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.

I saw the kid and immediately adopted a probably very inappropriate nickname. But since he was hanging out with Yao, the name that popped into my head was “Mini Ming”.
