We Drugged our Cat, Day 2

October 3, 2008

It said to put 3-5 drops in his food. I put six. He’s a big cat!

Then he threw up underneath Joe’s dining room chair. I guess Gus can’t handle his brandy.
I don’t know how he’s going to last in this boozin’ family…

Well you did put a few too many drops in his food. Maybe start him small (like in college with Boones Farm) and then build him up (to Grey Goose). Baby steps.

    Poor guy.

I really like Jessica’s suggestion — Boone’s farm might be the way to go as long as the sweetness of it doesn’t make him sick.

Oh my! El kitty kitty seems to be having a tough time adjusting. (I’ve never owned a cat before, so I’m useless other than stating what you’ve already stated. Sorry.)

I hope your cat gets back to normal soon. It is kind of funny that you are giving him alcohol though.

ComfortZone Feliway worked for our cat. After our first move, he spent two days behind the water heater. The second time, we used the spray during and after the move, and he was almost 100% fine.

I’ve started to use it during thunderstorms, too. Now he’ll cower in the hallway and try to hang out, instead of hide under the bed all day.
