Last minute gift idea

December 22, 2010

Okay, so maybe I’m hawking a product, but I really believe in this one.

I bought my husband a RoadID for Christmas. If you’re not familiar with this product, it’s basically an ID tag that you wear out running (or in his case, cycling). You can personalize it with emergency contact information and phone numbers. Or you can get an interactive version. Joe’s has my phone number and a code you can plug into the RoadID website for all sorts of information — blood type, insurance info, allergies, organ donor status… basically anything a hospital might want to know in an emergency.

So maybe it’s too late to order one before Christmas… but I truly think it’s a pretty neat little doo-dad. So if you’re not seeing your brother-who’s-hard-to-shop-for until after Christmas or if your marathoning aunt has a birthday soon, RoadID sent me a coupon for anyone to use.

Coupon Number: ThanksRenee905264

This coupon is good for $1 off any RoadID order. It can be used up to 20 times in the next 30 days.

Fine Print: I am an affiliate for RoadID but I didn’t receive this product for free or at a discount. So back off, FTC.

Interesting, I might have to get one for my dad. He jogs 10 miles a day.

    “So back off, FTC.”

    Bah hahaha

I just ordered one for my husband for his birthday! He’s always wanting to hike by himself, and I hate it, but this might put my mind at ease a bit. 🙂
