Things I’m Totally Digging
I usually do lists of Things I Can’t Stand …but I’m tired of being so negative. So here’s a new set of lists:
Things I’m Totally Digging Right Now
1. Irish Hockey!! Tonight we played in the Frozen Four for the first time and BEAT MICHIGAN (#2 on my shit list, behind USC). Saturday we play for the championship title against BC (aka Backup College). They’re calling us the Cinderella team. Oh hell yes. (Little known fact: I LOVE hockey.)
2. 4 Minutes To Save the World by Madonna and Justin Timberlake. Holy crap. This is the greatest collaboration anyone has ever thought of. It’s all kinds of bad ass. (Little known fact: I LOVE Justin Timberlake.)
3. The Beau Named Joe. What? Don’t judge me for my sap-fest. It’s nice to have someone who will watch hockey and sing Miley Cyrus with me (SHUT UP, you know you like that song too). Plus, he and his housemates are graciously hosting my birthday party Saturday. He’s all stressed out this week so I hope a little shout out will cheer him up. 🙂 Love you!
4. Oh, and Twitter.
Ahem, I will be going to the “Backup College” for graduate school in the Fall (GO EAGLES!).
Also, I LOVE THAT FUCKING MILEY CYRUS SONG. Seriously.
Haha, not offended at all, don’t worry! I’m actually kind of excited to go to a school that actually has rivals! My undergraduate institution? Not so big on the sports.
Damn Mile Cyrus! That song is always stuck in my head.
HAHA, I’ll invite some of my good close friends, (alex, brian, dave, joel and patrick). Oh and your welcome on the reminder. Seem’s I’m posting up more often finally.
I heart Miley’s song, obviously, I wrote a whole freaking post about it.
And Madonna/JT song, love it too!
This is a wonderful list. I totally love hockey, too, and the new Madonna/JT song.
Have fun at your bday partay!
DUDE, that Miley Cyrus song is totally catchy.
So I’m answering the question you asked me about whether I would vote for Hillary here, because I really hadn’t considered it until now.
I seriously spent some good time thinking about this, and I still don’t really have an answer.
I have sour feelings towards her, and I think my mom had a big influence in this part. In the early 90s, when Clinton proposed her health care plan, my mother, as a nurse, was going to get majorly screwed, because it was going to cut the money for them.
My mom, still in the health care field, hasn’t forgiven and hasn’t forgotten. I don’t know I could vote for Hillary knowing now that if that plan had gone through, my life growing up would have been very different. I know it was in the past, but my present wouldn’t be the same as a result.
So maybe I’ll go with a third party? My dad is a big supporter of shaking the system and voting for the little guys, but I’ve been so wrapped up in Democratic thought that I haven’t read up as much on them as I did in ’04. So we’ll see.
And this ends the world’s longest comment ever.
As a Canadian, a love of hockey is pretty much necessary. If you don’t love it, you get kicked out of the country and are forced to give up your free health care and stockpiled boxes of Smarties.
As for Justin, yeah… I sort of love him a little bit too. Which explains why I screamed like a 14 year old girl at his concert last year. WHICH WAS SO GOOD!
1. Go ND!
2. I don’t like that song. I was so excited for the collaboration, but it just didn’t live up to my expectations.
3. Awww.
4. Twitter is my newest obsession.
I love Justin. I’m no so psyched on the collaboration though.
ALso, loving Twitter!
I now have that JT and Madonna song in my head just from reading your update…. thanks!
